Joined Executive Management Team, Security Service Federal Credit Union - Jan, 1994 as Vice President, Marketing. Subsequently promoted to Senior Vice president and then to Executive Vice President, Chief Communications Officer. Responsible for Company Public Relations, Community Involvement, Media Relations, Trade Association Relationships, Legislative Affairs at the State and Federal level and Corporate Philanthrophy. Manage company Political Action Committee activities and Charitable Foundation grants.
Retired from Security Service December 2014.
Enjoyed attending the 50th reunion and hope to make the 60th, if there is one.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Cubberley experience participating in varsity sports; singing in Choir, Chorale and musicals; having some inspiring teachers like Ham Smith, Shirley Currie, David Buck, Dale Leslie, Bill Peters and Bud Presley; and lots of good times with some diverse and fun classmates. Especially enjoyed having our Danish exchange student, Axel Steuch, live with our family in my senior year. Learned a lot from Axel, especially how to enjoy Turborg beer and how he so successfully charmed the ladies.

Coolest thing: Married my wife, Jackie, and spent fifty years with her on a life adventure that has taken us to interesting and exciting places around the US and throughout the world.

Second coolest thing: Competed in the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Chorus competition on nine separate occasions throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Planned to attend college.
Did so and enjoyed it so much I took 6 1/2 years to get my BA.
Thanks to the US Air Force, also got to complete a Masters degree
while stationed in Washington, DC.
