I talked to Don Steinke on the phone and he related that he joined the Marine Corps just out of high school. He worked for the Department of the Navy as an electrician. He worked both at Mare Island and Hunters Point naval shipyards. he stated that he had been married three times and had a total of seven children. He is now retired on Civil Service and lives in Elmira California. He works summers as a campground host over the state of California. He has no computer but wants to share information about his life and his brother's.
