Profile Updated: July 7, 2009
Residing In: Berkeley, CA USA
Occupation: Artist
Children: Five children
School Story:

Most people went to college. My schooling was in South Palo Alto and Cubberley until I was 19 years old. I was very out of control, but what I had been exposed to set the tone for the rest of life.
The best experience of all my classes at Cubberley was Del Carlson's art class, with the sounds of "Exotica" by Martin Deney playing in the background. It was through his efforts and Ms. Currie's that I got to do a couple of posters relating to Ms. Currie's class. This is the only reason that I managed to graduate.
Going to this 50th reunion has brought many wild memories which are both painful and ecstatic.
I and my passengers were so lucky to survived my car wreck at the cemetery corner on Arascadero that senior year.
At 19 I took off to see the world. I drove two flamenco guitarists to New York with my surf board in my woodie. I made it to Europe.
Being the dreamer I was and being drawn to exotic sounds I tried twice to get to India.
The first trip I made it as far as Pakistan and Afghanistan. I was one of the early travelers that was able to carry a kilo of hashish back to Europe easily.
The second trip to India I wound up in East Africa for two years and have a son from that trip. I have two other sons from another marriage which has brought the total of grandchildren to seven.
Presently I have been married for thirty one years and my wife Ariella and I have two adult daughters.
Occupation: Fine Artist, Muralist, Color Consultant and Decorative Painter.
I have painted murals in S.F. and Berkeley and these have been reproduced in various mural books. Much of my art has been politically focused whether it is against nuclear policy or world wide wars. I continue to paint landscapes, still lifes and figurative paintings in oils. My web site has been down for a year while I am trying to get a site up with my daughter's greeting cards and my wife's ceramic creations.

Coolest Thing you ever did:

I voted for Obama

What do you do for fun?

Work on an old sail boat, travel and paint a lot of paintings
